​​The AMA (American Marketing Association) WGU Collegiate Student Chapter is a perfect opportunity for students. The Chapter provides leadership and networking opportunities, educational webinars, and other opportunities. The Chapter is student led and focuses on topics which are of interest to a wide variety of participants.

Executive Board & Advisors

Ashley Flynn, Primary Faculty Advisor

Ashley Flynn earned her BA in Marketing from Florida Atlantic University and MBA with a focus on Marketing at Nova Southeastern University. She was one of the founding members for her AMA chapter when she was pursing her undergraduate program and held various student positions in the chapter as well as attend the AMA International Collegiate Conference. She is an experienced educator teaching online marketing classes and has a wealth of professional marketing and advertising experience with a focus on digital marketing from both a B2B and B2C standpoint. Ashley's experience includes working for national TV shows, e-commerce businesses as well a non-profit organization. She has always demonstrated a passion for marketing and higher education and loves nothing more than being able to share her passion with others. Ashley loves being part of WGU as a Senior Program Mentor and helping both undergraduate and graduate students follow their passion for marketing!

Lauren Bellflower, Faculty Advisor for Advertising and Promotions

Dr. Lauren Bellflower (she/her) holds a PhD in Business with a Marketing concentration from University of the Cumberlands, a Masters of Science in Marketing and Communications, and a Bachelors of Business Administration from Franklin University. Her dissertation focuses on how to teach for the future of the marketing discipline. She is additionally pursuing a Masters of Education in Education Technology and Instructional design from WGU. She has served as an Instructor for WGU since April 2022 and has been teaching adult learners since 2019. She is a first-generation college graduate and is passionate about getting students excited for marketing in a way that connects the coursework to their own lives. She has worked in a variety of marketing positions including roles with a financial firm, corporate real estate, and with a marketing agency. She also has a history of community building within various roles with her sorority, Delta Zeta, as well as creating and running the Music City Young Professionals. She has been an AMA member since 2014. She served as Vice President of membership during her time at Franklin University. Currently, she is a local member of the Nashville chapter. Lauren values her experience and connections she has made through AMA and hopes students will do the same.

Rachel Hayes, Faculty Advisor for Programming and Events

Rachel is a Program Mentor in the School of Business and specializes in supporting undergraduate and graduate students in Marketing. She received her Master degree in Communication with an Emphasis in Education, as well as an undergrad in Applied Management at Grand Canyon University. She has over 10 years of experience working in higher education and has served in various director roles while overseeing student events, community engagement, and volunteer opportunities. Outside of WGU, Rachel has experience managing pro sporting events, community outreach, and assists in coordinating annual non-profit activities.  She is passionate about growth, innovation, and development while finding fun and creative networking opportunities to connect with others. Mentoring at WGU has been a career highlight as she always enjoys helping others and meeting new people. She is excited to collaborate with AMA and helping others thrive in the marketing industry.

Student Leadership Team

Deja Craft, President

Deja is a multifaceted creative, UX designer, and engineer with a passion for elevating experiences through strategy, storytelling, and innovation. As President of the AMA WGU Chapter, she is committed to fostering a collaborative environment that empowers students to grow as marketing leaders, gain real-world experience, and connect with like-minded peers.

With a strong foundation in user experience design, business strategy, and digital communications, Deja brings a unique blend of technical and creative insight to the role. She has been recognized in outlets such as Yahoo Finance and awarded a Global Recognition Award for her dedication to tech innovation and community service. Deja is excited to lead with intention, advocate for inclusivity, and ensure the chapter continues to thrive as a platform for meaningful growth, learning, and impact.

 

Chantel Graham, President Elect

Chantel is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Marketing at Western Governors University. She has over seven years of leadership experience in the retail and sales industries, with a passion for empowering others through collaboration and community. She is driven by the belief in creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and inspired. Chantel aspires to launch her own business soon and is currently working towards that in her spare time outside of school, her HubSpot Internship, and her full-time job.

Originally from Florida, Chantel relocated in 2020 to a new state and embraced the transition with resilience and optimism. Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys baking, cooking, strength training, and spending time with her two rescue dogs. She is also passionate about health and wellness and participates in local community programs that encourage people to live active, healthy lifestyles..

 

Victoria Harper, VP of Programming and Events 

Victoria is earning her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Marketing at Western Governors University. She recently founded Eden Essence Digital Solutions, a digital marketing agency dedicated to helping women-owned and Black-owned businesses build strong brand identities and sustainable growth strategies. She also serves as a community facilitator for The Young Black Moms Coalition, In addition to her entrepreneurial and community work, Victoria is a Campus Strategist for Perplexity and a former HubSpot Marketing Intern, where she gained valuable experience in inbound marketing, content strategy, and AI automation. She looks forward to applying her knowledge and leveraging her expertise to help grow the AMA WGU Chapter. Victoria’s passion for marketing stems from her experience in brand strategy, AI integration, and community engagement. As a member of the AMA WGU Chapter, she is excited to contribute her leadership skills while learning from fellow members. She is dedicated to fostering a collaborative and engaging environment where students can grow, connect, and apply their marketing knowledge meaningfully.

André Yeampierre, VP of Advertising and Promotions 

André is a leader based in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. With 17 years of experience managing Lucid Imaging, he creates global media coverage through diverse, thought-provoking content. As a licensed artisan and sustainable innovator, André is pioneering coconut-based composite materials, showcasing his commitment to environmental stewardship. Currently pursuing a Business Administration Marketing degree at Western Governors University. André's passion for creativity, sustainability, and community engagement inspires others to embrace positive change and pursue their dreams.
